we win before we begin
For us to be perfect is for us to be more than human, for as human beings we are fallible. For us to be a failure is for us to be less than human, for simply existing is a success. We being human, are born with the worth that many of us go on to seek our whole lives. So for us being human, we actually win before we begin.
Unfortunately most of us grow into blindness, as we forget our innate worth, and go looking for it in a world we can no longer see. We use our mind’s eye as a substitute for the vision we were born with, but the world we now see is distorted through the belief that our worth is somewhere out there in it. We ravage and consume the world, hoping to find and digest that which we once lost. Some of us believe it was stolen from us, and some that we need to steal it from others. Hostility is born as our true self dies, and we become the walking dead in a world that appears to reject us.
There has been a rejection, but not from the world. We have rejected ourselves, and we need to reclaim us and our sight back. Looking within we find ourselves and the worth that we possess. Looking outside through eyes that know their worth, the world is seen as a mirror, reflecting back to us, all the love that we are.
