therapeutic process

Counselling provides the opportunity to work towards living in a more resourceful and satisfying way during times of distress, confusion, choice or change. This is achieved by giving you the respect, attention and time necessary to explore, discover and clarify ways of increasing your well-being and quality of life.

Counselling is facilitative not prescriptive, the intention being not to prescribe solutions, but to assist you in examining your difficulties and the choices you have for dealing with those difficulties. With confidentiality and respect for your own perception of experience, you will be supported and guided towards finding your own solutions.

what we can achieve together

Together we can enable you to tolerate uncertainty, and be spontaneous. You can feel accepting of yourself and others, with the ability to establish satisfying interpersonal relationships. You can be appreciative of life, and creative within it.

I believe in the ability of all people to be all that they can be, and fulfil their true potential. I am making it my life's work to help people to do just that.
